full of vineyards and orchards, rivers and beautiful stones, whether it be those of its
famous chateaux or its intimate villages.
Theses tours, far away
from mass tourism, are designed for those of you who love to wander along wild lanes
where it is difficult for two cars to pass each other. They will allow you to discover the
Loire valley castles, to soak up the local culture and discover the heart
of the region. We offer you four main choices within our tours : "history"
(80% history and 20% gastronomy), "gastronomy" (40% history and
60% gastronomy), a combination of both : "mixed" (60% history
ans 40% gastronomy) and our tour "a la carte" (you choose and
organise yourself your visits). We have organised tailor-made tours to suit your
individual choices : the "history" tours consist mainly of visiting castles and
museums while the "gastronomy" tours consist of discovering the local cuisine
and vines as well as visiting the main castles. The "mixed" tours will satisfy
your curiosity about a region which is famous throughout the world for its historical
heritage and the reputation for its cuisine. On your arrival at Tours’s train
station your guide and chauffeur will take care of you and will drive you through
the region. Our tarifs include your hotel room with breakfast and dinner. Lunch is not
included, not are your own private expenses. You are free, by all means,
depending on your preferences and wishes, to change some of the visits
and replace them by any activity that our guide will suggest to you (for instance to
replace the visit to Clos-lucé by a visit to the zoo of Beauval or to replace the visit
to a mushroom cave by a visit to the donjon of the eagles at Montrichard). If one of the
visits planned could not take place for any adverse reason (bad weather or other delays)
it will be automatically replaced by a visit of the same standart. Our region offers so
